The 2nd  Faculty level quality assurance meeting/workshop was held on 27th April  in the Board room, Faculty of medicine. Participants were the Heads of Departments and members of the Internal quality assurance cell (IQAC). Altogether there were 24 participants and they discussed the standards under the criterion on student assessments and awards.  It was encouraging to note the active participation of the staff members. 
The participants agreed  in principle on declaration of faculty policies with respect to aspects highlighted in the PR manual  and documenting in the form of a book and adherence to those at department level.
Another proposal was to request all departments to attend to  record keeping in relation to planning, implementation and monitoring of  study programs/ modules and the examination process.
The activity was coordinated by the staff of the Medical Education Unit.
