“How to get there?”: Effective use of resources in postgraduate research

The workshop on ‘Effective Use of Resources in Postgraduate Research’ organised by the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine was held successfully on 16th November 2012. This workshop was funded by the International Research Centre of the University of Peradeniya and participants included academics from University of Peradeniya, University of Rajarata and the University of Jaffna with research interest in Medicine and Allied Health Sciences.

The resource persons, Prof. Vajira Weerasinghe, Dr. Tharaka Dassanayake and Dr. Sudheera Kalupahana conducted hands-on sessions on research methods, searching online research databases, using reference managing software, research data management and research writing.
