Farewell ceremony for Prof. A.S.B Wijekoon (Professor of Pediatrics)

Prof. A.S.B. Wjekoon retired from service as  Professor of Pediatrics after serving the Faculty of  Medicine for 37 long years. He was the pioneer of the beyond 2004 curriculum which he initiated during his tenure as Dean. He was also instrumental in setting up the e- library for the benefit of students. The official  farewell ceremony was held at the auditorium, Teaching Hospital  Peradeniya on 12th March and it was followed by a dinner reception hosted in honor of him at the Grand Kandyan hotel on the next day.
