An Evening with the Bhutanese students

The senior Bhutanese students welcomed their first years on Wednesday the 8th of May 2013 at 5:30 pm at the Pre-clinical block. Several staff members together with the Dean graced this occasion. The Dean, Prof. MD Lamawansa, said that he was happy that such an event has been organized by the international students for the first time at the Medical Faculty. He also thanked the members of the Student Affairs Committee and mentioned that funds have been approved for the first and second year Bhutanese to learn the Sinhala language. This occasion was graced by traditional and Modern songs and dances by the Bhutanese students.
