“Enhancing the Quality of Teaching: How Can Peer- review Help?”

A Training Workshop for Academic Staff of faculties of Health sciences

A training workshop on collegial processes to enhance the quality of the learning process titled “Enhancing the quality of teaching: how can peer- review help?” was organized by the Medical Education Unit of the Faculty of Medicine on the 23rd of January 2019.

Prof. Chinthaka Balasooriya, the Director of Medical Education Development of the University of New South Wales, attended the workshop as a resource person. Around 15 academic staff members representing the faculties of Health Sciences in the University of Peradeniya took part in the two-hour long workshop which effectively combined information sharing and training
