An official visit by the Minister of Education and Skills Development of the Royal Government of Bhutan to the University of Peradeniya on 5th February 2023
Mr. Jai Bir Rai, the Hon. Minister of Education and Skills Development of the Royal Government of Bhutan and H.E. Mr. Rinchen Kuentsyl, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bhutan in Bangladesh visited the Faculty of Medicine and the University of Peradeniya.
Prof. Vasanthi Pinto, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya, Prof. Udaya Ralapanawa, the Chairperson of the Student Affairs Committee, Prof. K. Marambe, the Head of the Department of Medical Education and Prof. Neil Alles, the Director of InRO and Head of the Department of Biochemistry participated in the above meeting.
The visit also included a meeting with the Bhutanese students at the Faculty of Medicine.
