The external Institutional review coordinated by the Quality Assurance Council of the UGC was held from 8th to 12th May 2023. The site visit to faculty of Medicine was held on Tuesday 09th May. The two reviewers who visited the Faculty of Medicine were Prof. Ranjith Mahanama and Prof. Achini De Silva.

Meetings were held with Academic staff, non-academic staff, undergraduate students, alumni and stakeholders. They also observed the teaching/training facilities of the MBBS degree program and the examination unit
