This initiative aims to establish short-term clinical training opportunities for undergraduate medical students from the University of Niigata, Japan, at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya, and the Teaching Hospital, Peradeniya.

As part of this programme, five medical students from Niigata University, accompanied by university authorities, will participate in clinical training, academic discussions, and cultural exchange activities during their stay in Sri Lanka. This collaborative effort seeks to strengthen academic ties, promote global exposure, and enhance mutual understanding between the two institutions.
