Donation Programme for Advancement of Patient Care at Teaching Hospital, Peradeniya
A donation programme aimed at the advancement of patient care at the Teaching Hospital, Peradeniya, strengthening training facilities at the faculty of medicine, was successfully held on 12th December 2025 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya.
This initiative was implemented under a Global Grant of The Rotary Foundation, with funding support from the District Designated Fund through Rotary District 3590, the Rotary Club of Jinju-Seonhak, and the Rotary Club of Kandy (Rotary District 3220).
As part of this programme, (15 Syringe pumps, 03 Intravenous fluid warming cabinets, 1 Flexible Intubation Bronchoscope, 02 Shoulder immobilizer, 04 Top phill cervical immobilisers, 02 BP meters, 02 Aneroid sphygmomanometer, Aneroid BP Meter,01 Defibrillatable mannequin, 02 Defibrillators) were donated to support and enhance patient care services at the Teaching Hospital, Peradeniya.
The donation programme reflects a strong commitment to strengthening healthcare services and improving the quality of patient care.
The Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya, sincerely appreciates the valuable contribution made by The Rotary Foundation and the partnering Rotary clubs. Such collaborative efforts play a vital role in improving healthcare infrastructure and supporting patient-centred care.
