Continuing its community outreach, the Department of Anaesthesiology conducted the Heart Beat Heroes workshop on 15 February 2026, collaborating with the Sri Lanka Resuscitation Council and the Doctors Welfare Association DOWELs . Coordinated by Dr Senani Samarasinghe, children enthusiastically learned lifesaving skills, gaining confidence, awareness, and valuable hands-on experience in basic life support training for young responders.
