An interactive lunch gathering for international elective students was held on 6th July 2026 at Royal Mall, Kandy. The event brought together 11 students currently undertaking their short-term elective placements at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya.

The students represented universities across the United Kingdom, providing an opportunity to interact, share their experiences, and strengthen academic and cultural ties.
