A lunch gathering for elective students was held on 5th March 2026 at Royal Mall, Kandy. The event brought together twelve students who are currently undertaking short-term elective placements at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya. The students represented several countries, including Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, New Zealand, Singapore and Malasia.
