It  is with profound sadness that the faculty announces the unexpected demise of Prof. Malkanthie Chandrasekara. Remains lie at No. 17/7, University square, Dangolla, Kandy.

Remains will be brought to the faculty of Medicine at 3 pm on Monday, 2nd February . The cortege leaves the faculty at 5 pm to Mahaiyyawa cemetery for cremation at 6.30 pm. The university academics, non academics, students and those who have retired are kindly requested to be present at the Galaha junction by 2.45pm on Monday to receive the coffin and pay the last respect.
