The Medical Faculty University of Peradeniya currently admits over 200 students per year to its undergraduate degree program.

The students undertake a 5 year medical course, which consists of two preclinical years, two para-clinical years and a year of professorial clinical appointment.

Over the years Peradeniya medical faculty has produced many world renown doctors and researchers. Their illustrious careers began here at the Peradeniya medical Faculty

Our students continue to excel in their chosen fields and for the past four years our graduates have come first in the Island wide merit list.
