  • At present, I’m attached to Department of Community Medicine, University of Peradeniya as a Senior lecturer in Community Medicine and thus delivers lectures to medical students on various subject areas.
    1. Module coordinator of Bio-statistics module:
      Conduct lectures on inferential statistics- Parametric tests (one sample z test, two sample z test, one sample t test, 2 sample independent t test, paired t test, z test for one proportion, z test for comparing 2 proportions), non- parametric tests (chi-square test of Goodness of fit, chi square test of independence), Correlation and regression as well as sampling techniques and sample size calculation.
    2. Doctor in society 5 All the lectures in Health Promotion module, Gender based violence
    3. Growth, Development and Nutrition module (all the community medicine related nutrition lectures)
    4. Doctor in society 3 Disability as a public health problem, TB prevention, Introduction to MOH area

    6. Clerkship attachment-Currently, I play a major role in teaching students on their clerkship appointment (field appointment) in particular in school medical inspections, poly clinics and child welfare clinics.
