The unit has equipped RIA laboratory and imaging unit with two planar gamma cameras.
The RIA lab carries out estimation of thyroid, pituitary, adrenal and sex hormone levels
for patients referred by the clinicians all over the country.

The imaging unit carries out imaging of following organs and systems including dynamic
studies using this gamma camera, which is limited to planar studies.

g) Whole body scans using 131-I.
h) Red cell labeled studies for GI Bleeding and haemangiomas
i) White cell labeled studies for Infection imaging.
