Staff development program 2009


The fully reformed, UGC accredited, staff development program for teachers of Faculties of Health Sciences was held for the 4th successive year during August/October 2009. Seventeen (17) academic staff members from Medical faculties of Peradeniya, Rajarata and Eastern Universities, Faculty of Dental Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science and  siddamedicine, Trincomalee campus participated in the training program, which gave an insight to the  teaching learning process, student assessments and program evaluation in higher education, effective communication, principles of educational research, ethics and professionalism and the Sri Lankan university system. Participants rated the overall program as either excellent or good.

 A certificate was awarded to all the participants who have successfully completed Training Programme.
