FEEDBACK

Dear HEDMaTC team,

Continuing the good work learnt at SRH training by HEDMaTC

I’m happy to inform you that we were able to conduct few programs for important target groups on SRH during emergencies. After participating into the 10th National training course on SRH I have gathered a lot of knowledge and I really wanted to spread my experiences as much as people I can.

We conducted a one day programs for 170 nursing students at Nurses training school, Galle with the support of MO-MCH . Two more programs were done for hospital staff of Teaching hospital Karapitiya and Base hospital Balapitiya with the support of RE. Nearly 50 people consist of medical officers, nursing sisters and nurses took part for each program.

I convey my heartfelt gratitude to HEDMaTC for making me capable of carrying out such programs and  like to inform you that I’m willing to conduct more programs on this topic within my capacity.

Thanks

Dear Dr. Dinesh, Dr. Sapumal, and dear Maduja,

First of all I must thank you all for everything you have done for me. It was so nice to be with you and I will never forget my birthday celebration arranged by you.

I learnt about a very important thing which I never had a proper knowledge prior attending the workshop. I discussed with my head regarding the workshop, the MISP and the comprehensive RH services and I told her that the objective to recruit academics is to the program is to educate the medical students regarding those.

She asked me to prepare one hour lecture for the medical students and we will try to get a place from our schedule to teach them about SRH in crisis situations.

The head of my department appreciated the things taught to us at the workshop.

I would like to join with you for further training programs as a trainee and as a trainer if I would be free on those days. I am planning to start my PhD soon and I might be busy with that. But when you are arranging them please let me know and if possible I am glad to join with you all.

Once again thank you for everything and wish to meet you all again.

Best regards,
Dr.Janithra De Silva (Probation Lecturer, Faculty of Medicine , Galle)
