The Department of Family Medicine is involved in student teaching programme and assessments in collaboration with other major clinical disciplines namely, Medicine, Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Anaesthesiology and Critical Care and, Community Medicine as well as the Department of Family Medicine in other faculties.

The clinical training in Family Medicine is introduced in the first short clinical rotation for a period of two weeks where students are sent to different primary care settings to get exposure to diverse case presentations.
