The SLCOG Study Day took place on March 12, 2025, at the Old Examination Hall, Faculty of Medicine, with 41 third-year registrars participating. The event was organized by Professor M. Champika Gihan, the Head of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, alongside the non-academic staff.

Eight consultants attended as resource persons, offering valuable insights and sharing their expertise with the participants. Final MBBS students and research assistants played an essential role as role players, contributing significantly to the event's success.

The primary objective of this session was to enhance the communication skills of the registrars, equipping them with essential tools for their professional development.
