The Medical Education Unit was upgraded to Department of Medical Education in 2020.

The Department of Medical Education contribute to curriculum development activities, staff training in education related concepts, coordinating the work of Internal Quality Assurance cell, activities of the Monitoring and Evaluation committee and activities of the University staff development centre.

Support the undergraduate teaching activities of the faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Allied health sciences of the UoP.

Postgraduate training include the contributions to the post graduate training programs in the PGIM and supervision of higher degrees Mphil and PhD
