The department offers parasitology consultancy and diagnostic services mainly to the Teaching Hospitals at Kandy and Peradeniya, extending to the entire health sector in Sri Lanka. Throughout decades the department has actively participated in “Anti-Malaria Campaign” activities that have achieved a great success.
